Colleen McGuire, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, is a transformational leader passionate about healthcare reform. She brings more than 35 years of experience leading and mobilizing teams and organizations to deliver breakthrough results and create positive social impact.

Garry Welch, PhD, Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, is a foremost expert in the area of behavior medicine for chronic disease care. He has extensive experience leading clinical research on behavior change strategies for people with diabetes and other chronic diseases. Dr. Welch's 30+ years of clinical research led to co-founding Silver Fern Healthcare. He leads research and development at Silver Fern.

Doug Lee, Chief Information Officer, has more than 25 years of experience in information technology leadership and strategic growth, including working for startups and Fortune 500 companies. He has served as Chief Information Officer for several companies and held management positions in the telecommunications and telecommunications software industries. Doug oversees technology and information security at Silver Fern.

Mary Beth Cardin has 25+ years of financial and operational experience in the health insurance industry serving commercial and government markets, with 20+ years of leadership roles at CVS / Aetna, Inc. Mary Beth is responsible for oversight of Silver Fern’s financial accounting and compliance needs and supports the Silver Fern team to define financial strategies to drive growth. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Nora Saul is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Nora has more than 25 years of experience in the field of diabetes education, consulting for the Joslin Diabetes Center and other industry partners. Nora leads content development for Silver Fern’s diabetes products and training.

John is the founder of Realized Solutions, Inc., a software development and IT network services provider, where John acts as President, CEO and enjoys being a senior consultant. John has been involved in the field of Information Technology for more than 20 years and has a wealth of experience in software development, system integration and computer security.

Dan Clare is a partner and head of credit investments at Constitution Capital Partners, an asset management firm with offices in Boston, New York and Chicago. Dan has spent the past twenty years as a private equity and credit investor in numerous businesses, including companies in the behavioral health, health care IT, and payor services sectors. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School.

Dr. Fendrick conceptualized and coined the term Value-Based Insurance Design (V-BID) and currently directs the V-BID Center at the University of Michigan, the leading advocate for development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative health benefit plans. He has authored more than 250 articles and book chapters and received numerous awards for his work. He is a graduate of Harvard Medical School.

Cathy Eddy founded and led the Health Plan Alliance (formerly the HMO Alliance) for more than 20 years, growing it to more than 50 members. She has extensive experience advising health systems, health plans, and companies, providing them with expertise in governance, innovation, strategic planning, product development, and health system/health plan alignment.

Richard has more than 45 years business experience in Finance, Operations, Marketing and General Management within both technology and consumer industries. He has been CEO of a Fortune 100 company, several start-ups, consultant to about one third of the Fortune 500, Board Member and active investor in startups. His degrees are from the University of Cambridge.

Donna has extensive leadership experience in the areas of healthcare and financial services, including strategy and business development. Her background includes tax, treasury, investor relations, mergers & acquisitions, integration, divestitures, and FP&A and P&L management. She has held roles at Omnicare Corporation, HealthSouth Corporation, KPMG, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte.

Gbenga Ogedegbe, a physician, is Professor of Population Health & Medicine, Chief Division of Health & Behavior and Director Center for Healthful Behavior Change in the Department of Population Health at New York University’s School of Medicine. Gbenga is a leading expert on health disparities research; his work focuses on the implementation of evidence-based interventions for cardiovascular risk reduction in minority populations. Dr. Ogedegbe was appointed to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force in 2020.

Dr. Souder has taught courses in strategic management, statistics, and entrepreneurship at UConn’s School of Business since 2007. Dr. Souder’s research focuses on corporate short-termism and long-term thinking, and he frequently speaks with business groups and media members on related topics. His Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota is in Strategic Management and Organizations.

Martha’s expertise is in the healthcare industry with deep insights into behavioral health in US and international markets. She has focused on and succeeded at driving growth and profitability within extremely complex and competitive markets. She most recently provided leadership to Optum Behavioral Health, a U.S. leader in behavioral health services, as their Chief Executive Officer.
