Nora Saul brings more than 30 years' experience in the fields of clinical nutrition and diabetes education. She has worked directly with patients in a variety of clinical settings to help them understand various choices they can actively make which can improve their quality of life. Nora leads clinical content development for Silver Fern’s products and training, and writes support articles for current and prospective clients.
Prior to coming to Silver Fern, Nora worked for Roche Diagnostics Corporation where she served as a clinical specialist for their insulin dose calculating diabetes blood glucose meters and insulin pump. Nora trained sales representatives on the clinical aspects of diabetes care, enabling them to boost sales revenue. As Nutrition Manager at Joslin Diabetes Center, Nora developed a revenue generating diabetes training program for international students, that drew participants from all over the world and co-developed the clinical core for the Supervalu’s Nutrition iQ program, that was used in the supermarket chains Jewel-Osco, Albertsons, and Star Market. She has lectured and presented both nationally and internationally. Nora has written and blogged extensively on diabetes topics for the public and published a chapter on nutrition and diabetes in Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy.
Nora holds a master's degree in Nutrition from Boston University as well as a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Brandeis University. She is a licensed Registered Dietitian in Massachusetts and a certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
