Mary Beth Cardin has 25+ years of financial and operational experience in the health insurance industry serving commercial and government markets. Most recently, she served as President, Treasurer and CFO for PNT Data Corp. (PNT) a small business EDI clearinghouse and healthcare data coordination company in CT. At PNT she was involved in all aspects of business strategy and growth activities, including the capture and implementation of large multi-year contracts and business. Prior to joining PNT, reporting to the Office of the Chairman, Mary Beth was responsible for the successful business development, evaluation, integration and management of Aetna business acquisitions. She owned responsibility for Aetna’s Network operations including provider contracting systems, data and credentialling and served multiple business organizations in various financial planning, strategy, compliance and CFO roles.
Mary Beth is responsible for oversight of Silver Fern’s financial accounting and compliance needs and supports the Silver Fern team to define financial strategies to drive growth. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mary Beth sits on the Cornerstone Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and has served on other for-profit and not-for-profit boards.
Mary Beth earned her MS in Accounting from the University of Virginia.
