Dr. Souder has taught courses in strategic management, statistics, and entrepreneurship at UConn’s School of Business since 2007. He earned his BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management, and his PhD in Strategic Management and Organization from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Souder’s research focuses on corporate short-termism and long-term thinking, and he frequently speaks with business groups and media members on related topics. He serves as the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, which educate managers across three Connecticut locations and attract energetic new talent to the state. He also serves as the Academic Director for the school’s Executive MBA program.
